Edge 800W Wi-Fi Configuration

The Edge 800W device from Bigleaf features build-in Wi-Fi capabilities, see Bigleaf Router Datasheet for specifics. Only Super Admin users will be able to make the changes below.

Currently, the Wi-Fi features below are in Early Access, but can be enabled by Bigleaf Support at your request if a site already has an Edge 800W device AND NAT Firewall mode.

Enabling WiFi

** Note: Site must be using NAT Firewall LAN Settings to utilize this feature.

• Navigate to a site that already has an Edge 800W device assigned and provisioned
• Click on the 'Site Configuration' tab from the 'Site Overview'. 
• Inside the Site Configuration, click on the Wi-Fi tab
• Click 'Enable Primary Wi-Fi network' toggle button -->
  
  

Wi-Fi Configuration Options

• Once enabled, customers can toggle off/on individual 2.4GHz and 5GHz networks
• Can edit Wi-Fi network name (SSID)
• Can view/update Wi-Fi password
  • Bigleaf currently utilizes WPA2 security protocol for Wi-Fi passwords
• Can edit Wi-Fi channels in use for 2.4GHz and 5GHz networks
• Can enable/disable broadcast of SSID

Guest Wi-Fi Configuration Options

Below the Primary Wi-Fi network settings, there is a toggle button to enable a 'Guest Wi-Fi':

Devices connected to the 'Guest Wi-Fi' network will be segregated into a separate subnet and DHCP server.

• Once enabled, customers can toggle off/on individual 2.4GHz and 5GHz networks
• Can edit Guest Wi-Fi network name (SSID)
• Can view/update Guest Wi-Fi password
  • Bigleaf currently utilizes WPA2 security protocol for Wi-Fi passwords
• Can edit Wi-Fi channels in use for 2.4GHz and 5GHz networks
• Can enable/disable broadcast of SSID
• Can edit Guest Wi-Fi default gateway and subnet mask
