Bigleaf is committed to ensuring your online account security. We’ve added extra levels of protection to user accounts in the form of Two-Factor Authentication (2FA): Time-based One-Time Password (TOTP) and SMS text message. These log in protections ensure that users trying to gain access to an online account are who they say they are and protect your account from unauthorized users. Bigleaf recommends using TOTP.
Time-based One-Time Password
To use TOTP with your Bigleaf account, at the Bigleaf log in select Google authenticator or similar, then scan the barcode displayed in the Bigleaf Cloud Connect login with your mobile device that you use with an authentication app. Enter the verification code.
Note: If you're an existing Bigleaf user that's using SMS and would like to switch to TOTP, contact Bigleaf Support to reset your login account and set up TOTP.
SMS text message
To use SMS authentication, at the Bigleaf log in select Try another method and then select the SMS option. Enter your phone number and we'll send you a six-digit verification code as an SMS message. Enter the verification code in the next login page.
You can’t use SMS authentication on a user account shared by more than one person. Each account holder must have their own phone number.
Tip: If your phone number changes or you have any other account issues, contact Bigleaf Support for assistance.
Don’t want to use multi-factor authentication?
If you choose not to use TOTP or SMS, you can select Skip Enrollment. However, you’ll be prompted to skip it periodically when you sign in to your account. In coming releases, Bigleaf will require TOTP for all accounts. We’re hoping you’ll take advantage of this important security step.
