Note: This documentation is intended for Bigleaf Partner Provisioning processes only.
To complete the Bigleaf device provisioning process and update the site configuration to the Bigleaf device, follow these steps on any Bigleaf device:
- Connect an ethernet cable from the AUX Port on the Bigleaf device to a DHCP-enabled device to connect to Bigleaf Cloud Connect configuration.
- Device/serial number assigned to site during the Site Configuration process.
- Bigleaf routers should be separate from Partner LAN, outside of the security perimeter (in a DMZ).
-
- If device is not in a DMZ, ensure DHCP connection does not filter needed ports.
- If device is not in a DMZ, ensure DHCP connection does not filter needed ports.
-
- Using the provided power cable, plug the customer router into an Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS). Do not plug directly into a wall outlet. The router automatically powers on and begins the configuration download.
- You may see on the Primary and/or Secondary CPE Routers section in Bigleaf Cloud Connect that the router’s Firmware Version or Site Config Version is ‘Out of date’.
- If you see this, no action is needed, the firmware and configuration will update automatically. (This can take a few minutes.)
- If the firmware/configuration updates fail to update, contact Bigleaf Support.
- Once the router(s) firmware and configuration are marked as ‘Up to date’, you can now click the ‘Provision Site’ button on the site configuration page to complete the provisioning process.
- Site is ready to be deployed and installed at the customer site.
