Note: This documentation is intended for Bigleaf Partner Provisioning processes only.
For Bigleaf Partners, we currently offer 3 types of wireless solutions. Please refer to the Bigleaf Partner Portal for pricing and other details.
Option 1: Adding 5G Ready (BYO-SIM) with BLR Edge 800W
- Under specific site, go to Site Configuration > Circuits
- On WAN4, click on 'Enable Wireless Circuit'
- Configure circuit with ISP/carrier name, expected download/upload speeds
- If unsure on expected speeds, contact Bigleaf Support to test circuit once setup is completed.
- Configure 'Type' as 'Bigleaf Wireless Connect'.
- Configure 'Wireless Plan' field as '5G Ready', and click 'Save changes'.
- Ensure SIM card is inserted into SIM Slot 1.
- If manual APN is needed to complete configuration, follow this guide to update cellular settings.
- Configuration is complete for this circuit, follow all necessary steps as needed in the Provisioning Process Overview to complete deployment.
Note: Only Available on Bigleaf's BLR Edge 800W device.
Option 2: Adding Bigleaf Wireless Connect with BLR Edge 800W
Prior to beginning the configuration steps below, must have Bigleaf provided SIM card for various service options. SIM cards can be included via the order form when purchasing a BLR Edge 800W, or contact Bigleaf if additional SIM cards are needed.
- Under specific site, go to Site Configuration > Circuits
- On WAN4, click on 'Enable Wireless Circuit'
- Configure circuit with ISP/carrier name, expected download/upload speeds
- If unsure on expected speeds, contact Bigleaf Support to test circuit once setup is completed.
- Configure 'Type' as 'Bigleaf Wireless Connect'.
- Configure 'Wireless Plan' field to match desired carrier and service plan, then click 'Save Changes'.

Ensure SIM card is inserted into SIM Slot 1, and afterwards that the device is powered on and connected to Bigleaf services to allow ICCID and IMEI details to populate.
- If device is already deployed in field and online, no additional actions needed.
- If device is still being provisioned, follow steps in Device Provisioning to ensure device is online and SIM card details are able to be gathered.
- Our Bigleaf team will process the request to activate SIM and service plan as selected within 2-business days and will send an email confirming when the service has been activated.
- If device is already deployed in field and online, no additional actions needed.
- If device is still being provisioned, follow all necessary steps in the Provisioning Process Overview.

Finally you will need to configure an APN on the device, on the Device tab drill into the "Device details" and click on "settings" from there you can simply enter the APN. The APN must match the Carrier and plan please reference this chart or reach out to support.

Option 3: Adding Bigleaf Wireless Connect with 2-Box/External Router
Bigleaf can alternatively provide an external 4G/5G wireless router device (see Bigleaf Edge Router Datasheet for technical specs) to utilize Bigleaf Wireless Connect plans. The device will be shipped fully configured and ready to deploy, and can be used with any Bigleaf router.
- Under specific site, go to Site Configuration > Circuits.
- On any unconfigured WAN circuit, click on 'Configure'
- On a Bigleaf BLR Edge 800W device, WAN4 can only be used for built-in wireless services.
- Configure circuit with ISP/carrier name, expected download/upload speeds.
- If unsure on expected speeds, contact Bigleaf Support to test circuit once setup is completed.
- Configure 'Type' as 'Bigleaf Wireless Connect'.
- Configure 'Wireless Plan' field to match desired carrier and service plan, then click 'Save Changes'.
- Ensure that the site address, or that the site 'ship-to' address is correct in the Site Configuration > General tab.
- The address listed on the site address or 'ship-to' address is where the the 2-Box external 4G/5G router device will be shipped by Bigleaf.
- Our Bigleaf team will process the request to activate SIM and service plan as selected within 2-business days and will send an email confirming when the device has been shipped.
- Once device is received, it is ready for deployment following the Wireless Connect Install Guide.
