Enabling or Disabling Edge Firewall add-on is done via the Site Configuration -> General tab of the Bigleaf Cloud Connect Dashboard and using the toggle next to 'Edge Firewall' in the 'Service Options' section.
Note: Edge Firewall is a paid add-on feature, and will become billable once enabled. Please refer to Bigleaf Partner portal for pricing details or contact your Bigleaf sales representative for more details.
Enabling Edge Firewall will have immediate LAN-side connectivity impact as the LAN settings will change to NAT FIrewall. See Configure LAN: Single LAN vs VLANs to better understand configuring these settings.
If enabling this feature on an existing site with standard service, review Converting Standard Service to Edge Firewall checklist.
Disabling Edge Firewall will also have an immediate LAN-side connectivity impact, as the NAT Firewall mode will need to be updated or converted into a standard service plan with an associated /30 or larger LAN block assigned to the site.
If you are unsure of the impact of a change, please review the documentation on our Edge Firewall or contact our Bigleaf Support team.
